You’ll provide trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy in a hybrid setting, using approaches that go beyond traditional talk therapy. Compensation: This is a part-time, non-salaried, fee-for-service position with the potential opportunity to work as many hours as preferred, with a minimum of 25 hours weekly. Compensation: $42 hourly Responsibilities: • Provide individual counseling sessions to address trauma-related issues in clients, • Provide brief check-ins of patients undergoing neurofeedback treatment, • Perform intake assessments for clients seeking neurofeedback therapy services, • Provide therapy sessions for individuals managing PTSD, depression, and anxiety, • Maintain precise and timely clinical records, • Engage in clinical consultations, Neurofeedback clinical rounds, and educational training sessions, • Gain specialized knowledge in integrating neurofeedback with EMDR and other therapeutic approaches, • Exhibit strong organizational skills, consistency, and punctualityQualifications:, • Candidates must possess an Associate-level license in psychotherapy specific to Connecticut, such as LMSW or LPCA, • Successful applicants should have undergone training in EMDR or other trauma-focused therapies or be willing to pursue such training, • Ethical standards adherence within the psychotherapy field is a mandatory requirement for all candidates, • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for success in this role, • Proficiency in using an Electronic Health Record and ensuring timely documentation is highly preferred, • A strong commitment to collaborative teamwork is crucial for excelling in this position, • The ideal candidate will be dedicated to continuously developing and enhancing their clinical practice, • Adaptability to changing clinical demands is crucial for delivering effective patient care, • Availability to work during late afternoons, early evenings, and SaturdaysAbout Company The Center for NeuroPotential empowers motivated people to heal, grow, and reach their potential using assessments and treatments that are evidence-based, brain-based, and holistic.
