Job DescriptionDescription: Position Overview The Shipper is responsible for the shipping of products using LTL carriers and contracted carriers and maintaining appropriate inventory levels. This position is required to coordinate with sales, purchasing and manufacturing to ensure the timely shipping of goods. He/she may be required to assist other employees as a helper on key work or machines as required by the work schedule. BACKGROUND Life House Ministries (LHM) is a 501(c)3 Christian nonprofit committed to ending the cycle of homelessness and abuse in women and children through transitional housing, education, counseling and resources. Our mission is through education and empowerment, we equip single moms to raise healthy children, overcome financial hardship and heal from past trauma. In addition to offering support services to single moms and their children, we manage a group maternity home in Marysville for pregnant women ages 18-40, willing to enroll in a personal development program, at no cost to residents. The maximum number of adult residents is four, plus their newborn infants. The maximum stay per resident is up to 12 months. DESCRIPTION The Assistant Program Manager lives on site and will assist the Director and Case Manager in overseeing daily schedules, meals, household chores, and the provision of support services to residents. This role ensures the home provides a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the health, well-being and personal growth of residents and their infants. Daytime and weekend operations are primarily covered on-site by the Director, Case Management Staff, and trained volunteers. As a result, the Assistant Program Manager has built-in respite and flexibility, with 10 hours of paid administrative work required weekly. This position is structured to accommodate individuals who are employed fulltime or part-time offsite, work remotely, or are enrolled in fulltime academic programs. To support consistency and stability for the residents, the Onsite House Manager is asked to commit to a oneyear term, with the option to renew after one year.
