Join the team at Jump! Gymnastics for an unforgettable summer of fitness and imagination! We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and responsible individuals to fill multiple rolesfrom Gymnastics Coaches leading high-energy fitness activities to Arts & Crafts Counselors helping children bring their imaginations to life with glitter and glue sticks. Whether you're coaching gymnastics skills or leading theme-based art projects, youll help campers ages 310 build confidence and fine motor skills in a positive, playful setting. JOB TYPE: • Hours range from part time to full time, • Seasonal (see dates below)DATES and HOURS:, • Training Dates: May 26th - 29th, • Camp Dates: June 1 August 14, • Part Time: M - F - 8:15am - 1:45pm or 12:15pm - 5:30pm, • Full Time: M - F - 8:15am - 3:30pmPOSITIONS AVAILABLE:, • Camp Director ($18/hour), • Receptionist ($18/hour), • Arts and Crafts Teacher ($18/hour), • Sport Skills Coach ($19/hour), • Gymnastics Coach ($19/hour), • Assistant Gymnastics Coach ($18/hour)LOCATIONS:, • South Austin: 6800 West Gate Blvd; Austin, TX 78745, • North Central Austin: 2117 West Anderson Lane; Austin, TX 78757, • Domain - Austin: 10910 Domain Drive; Austin, TX 78758, • Hutto, Texas: 571 Ed Schmidt Blvd; Hutto, TX 78634REQUIREMENTS, • Must be 18 years or older, • Must have a high school diploma, • Must pass a comprehensive background check, • Must be dependable and upbeat, • Must have a strong belief and alignment in teaching through positive reinforcementPREFERENCES, • Experience working with children (babysitting, siblings, childcare, etc), • Comfortable leading activities and managing groups, • Organized, creative, upbeat, and flexiblePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:, • Ability to see and hear clearly 20 yards away., • Ability to provide sustained attention to students during class time in the gym., • Ability to stand, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb onto a spotting block to assist athletes., • Ability to spot a gymnast, including the strength to lift and carry at minimum 50 pounds., • Ability to move equipment, including the strength to push or pull at minimum 50 pounds.
