The team's main functions include business development and strategic partnerships, growth operations and systems, and market strategy and outreach. The Strategic Growth department contributes to Teaching Lab's mission by securing the partnerships and resources needed to bring high-quality professional learning and instructional support to more educators and students.ABOUT THE ROLEThe Growth Operations Manager's primary responsibility is to operationalize Teaching Lab's strategic growth priorities by owning day-to-day execution across market research, outreach, partner engagement, and the systems that drive pipeline development. Along with Strategic Growth, Program, and Strategy & Communications team members, the Manager, Growth Operations will also hold responsibilities in the following areas:Leading early-stage market entry research and producing clear, actionable market briefs to inform go-to-market decisionsExecuting and tracking outreach for priority market initiatives, including building contact lists, managing sequences, and monitoring performanceOwning conference strategy and planning as a growth lever, including recommendations, schedules, and briefing materials for attendeesSupporting opportunity research and business development enablement by ensuring accurate CRM tracking and delivering targeted memos in response to leadership needsContributing to cross-functional tools, templates, and shared processes that strengthen go-to-market execution and institutional knowledge The Growth Operations Manager role is an individual contributor-level position with no management responsibilities. This role is essential to ensuring disciplined, data-informed growth execution across new and existing markets. Success in this position requires strong judgment, initiative, rigorous research and synthesis skills, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSEducation, Work Experience, and KnowledgeBachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, education, or a related field. This range represents the full earning potential for the role, including opportunities for salary growth over time based on performance, tenure, and organizational budget. The anticipated hiring range for this position is $80,000 - $105,529. Teaching Lab will generally cap salaries for new employees at 105% of the midpoint of the full salary range ($105,529) to allow for continued growth in the role over time. There are two types of experience being considered for this role: Experience that is directly relevant to the role and Total Working Experience, in all fields. This includes: internships and consulting work. In collaboration with the hiring manager, the People and Culture team calculates experience based on the candidate's most current resume. When calculating the offer, consideration is given to candidates that possess additional qualifications (i.e., desired qualifications). Teaching Lab will generally cap salaries for new employees at 105% of the midpoint to allow for continued growth in the role over time.CLOSING/REVIEW DATEThis position opened on January 30, 2026 and will remain open until filled.
