We are searching for a CDL delivery driver to assist us in the timely delivery of materials, equipment, tools, and operating equipment, as well as maintaining and repairing tools and machinery. Compensation: $16 - $22 hourly Responsibilities: • Safely transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites., • Load and unload items from delivery vehicles, • Follow established routes and schedule, • Communicate effectively with project managers and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues, • Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and obtain necessary signatures, • Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations, • Inspect, repair, and maintain tools and equipment used in deck construction, • Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs, • Keep an organized inventory of tools and spare parts, • Collaborate with project managers to ensure tools are available and in good working condition, • Perform routine maintenance tasks (e.g., oil changes, blade sharpening) on power tools, • Communicate with clients in a polite and professional manner, • Check orders before and after drop-off to make sure deliveries are completed correctlyQualifications:, • Exhibits exceptional communication skills and time management skills, • High school diploma or equivalent (GED), • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) and a clean driving record are required, • Preference for candidates with prior delivery driver or related job experience, • Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds, • Mechanical aptitude and experience with tool maintenance and repair, • Strong attention to detail and safetyAbout Company At Smoky Mountain Deck Builders, we redefine outdoor living.
