Job DescriptionVIP staffing is immediately hiring a Soldering tech for a leading organization in Albuquerque, NM This is Full Time Temp to hire- Schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30 with a 30 min lunch. Pay is $15 per hour As Soldering Tech you will: • Perform setup, calibration, assembly, soldering and operation of production and testing equipment across all departments., • Troubleshoot and solve manufacturing issues, ensuring smooth operations in each department., • Record observations and findings during the assembly process in all departments and implement corrective measures as needed., • Ensure work instructions and safety protocols are strictly followed in each department., • Conduct functionality tests and inspect finished products for quality, ensuring adherence to customer specifications., • Operate specialized tools such as needle punches, perimeter cutters, wire handling equipment, soldering tools, and laser cutting machinery, depending on the department., • Collaborate with the engineering department to address technical feedback and improve processes., • Monitor progress on all assemblies in each department, following up to ensure project timelines are met. Soldering Tech candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:, • High School Diploma or GED required, • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple production departments., • Ability to comprehend and follow work instructions, adjusting for different production processes., • Basic Computer Skills, • Great communication skills, • Ability to adapt and change in a fast-paced production environment, • Have strong attention to detail, • Be self-motivated, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks.
