We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of multiple projects across our client portfolio, ensuring cost-effective, compliant, and high‑quality outcomes from RIBA stages 0–7. Role Overview You will oversee full project lifecycles, manage Health & Safety responsibilities, maintain governance and gateway approvals, and work closely with designers, contractors, and stakeholders. A key focus will be effective change control, risk management, and robust financial oversight. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery • Deliver projects ensuring value for money and compliance with Mitie and client methodologies., • Identify project success factors and translate these into clear milestones., • Establish project roles, responsibilities, and documentation systems., • Lead progress reporting, programme development, and monthly project review meetings., • Manage change control and communicate contract requirements across the team. Compliance & Health and Safety • Take ownership of Health & Safety throughout all project stages., • Ensure CDM compliance and maintain the project risk register., • Promote a culture of quality, “right first time”, and continuous improvement. Commercial & Financial Management • Monitor budgets, cost control, and cash flow, ensuring accurate CVR reporting., • Support procurement, subcontractor negotiation, and contract compliance., • Work with supply chain and commercial teams to drive performance. Stakeholder & Team Leadership • Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and project teams., • Communicate key project information clearly and effectively., • Encourage innovation and evaluate completed works to identify improvements. Person Specification Essential • Proven project management experience across pre‑construction and construction phases., • Strong construction knowledge, planning capability, and commercial awareness., • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills., • Solid understanding of Health & Safety and CDM regulations., • Flexible approach with willingness to travel. Desirable • Degree in construction/surveying., • Professional membership: RICS, CIOB, RIBA, CIBSE, MIET, or APM., • MEP experience., • Health & Safety qualification: NEBOSH, NVQ Level 6, IOSH. Additional Responsibilities Health & Safety • Follow Mitie policies at all times., • Report risks, deficiencies, and training needs promptly., • Use PPE and equipment correctly.
