Job Title: Workday HRIS Analyst Location: London Based (4x a week on site) Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE (+ up to 10% bonus) Team Overview This role sits within a dynamic HRIS team currently navigating a major Workday reimplementation alongside several ongoing projects. My client is looking for a proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; balancing daily operational support with longer-term project deliverables. Key Responsibilities • Hands on Workday configuration and maintenance, specialising in one or more areas such as Absence, Time Tracking, or Payroll., • Act as a primary point of support for Workday-related queries and issues, managing tickets and tracking resolutions through ServiceNow., • Partner with HR and technical teams to maintain data accuracy, evaluate process designs, and assist with testing and quality assurance., • Configure and optimise Workday business processes, security settings, and workflows in alignment with evolving business requirements., • Conduct regular audits and system checks to maintain compliance and ensure data reliability., • Build and enhance Workday reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for HR and leadership., • Develop training materials, documentation, and job aids, and deliver training sessions to end users., • Support the maintenance and troubleshooting of Workday integrations with external vendors and internal systems., • Lead or contribute to Workday enhancement initiatives, from requirements gathering and scoping to testing and implementation., • Continuously review and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience., • Maintain thorough documentation of configuration and security changes, ensuring all testing and validations are properly recorded., • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering collaboration and shared knowledge., • Monitor and evaluate Workday updates and community insights, advising stakeholders on relevant upcoming changes., • Communicate progress, risks, and updates clearly to HRIS leadership and project sponsors. Required Skills & Experience • A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience working with Workday within an HRIS or HR technology function., • Hands-on configuration experience in at least one of the following Workday modules: Absence, Time Tracking, or Payroll., • Proficiency in multiple modules is highly desirable but not essential., • Solid understanding of HR systems, workflows, and data structures., • Strong capability in problem-solving, data analysis, and system troubleshooting., • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both written and verbal., • High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing deadlines in a high-pressure setting., • Competent user of Microsoft Office tools, particularly; Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.), PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across a global or distributed team., • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and deliver results in an environment with multiple simultaneous projects. Desirable Skills • Broader configuration experience spanning Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll modules., • Previous involvement in a Workday implementation, reimplementation, or major system upgrade., • Experience developing advanced dashboards and visual reporting tools for HR leadership., • Familiarity with Workday integrations and vendor data exchanges., • Understanding of data governance, audit processes, and change control within HR technology., • Experience with ticketing or case management tools such as ServiceNow., • Track record of leading or supporting cross-functional HRIS projects., • Active participation in the Workday Community or other professional HRIS networks.
