Responsibilities: - Safely operate a van to deliver packages to designated locations. - Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage. - Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and signatures. - Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks to ensure the van is in good working condition. - Assist with heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. - Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Requirements: - Own your own van. - Relevant insurances - Hire and Reward, Goods in Transit and Public Liability. - Valid driving licence with a clean driving record or no more than 6 points. - Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. - Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed, with physical stamina for long hours on the road.
