Role Join us as Bid Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our business growth strategy, leading the development and conversion of new business and rebid opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth business. You’ll build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, driving success on cutting-edge technical solutions for the public sector. Day to day, you’ll have the following responsibilities: • Lead bid and proposal management activities, • Run Bid no Bid process, • Effectively and efficiently resource bids, • Facilitate bid kick-off meetings, • Run and facilitate storyboard sessions, • Hold regular bid reviews and stand-ups, • Manage and monitor all public sector tender portals, • Update and maintain bid library, • Ensure Codiance are represented accurately on CCS portals such as G-Cloud / DOS, • Identify further suitable CCS portals for Codiance services and manage submissions, • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external clients, • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver winning bids, • Apply recognised business growth methodologies such as Shipley, • Manage internal meetings at senior level with confidence and clarity Some travel to client sites may be required. Experience and qualifications Essential • Educated to A-level standard, • 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Bid Manager with Public Sector tenders, • Proven bid success within the software/technology sector, • Ability to support detailed technical specialists write winning bids, • Expertise in applying recognised bid methodologies (e.g., Shipley), • Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and build relationships, • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at senior level. Desirable • Degree in Business, Engineering or similar, • APMP Membership and Bid/Proposal certifications (Foundation or Practitioner) are advantageous.
