Job DescriptionSenior Internal Controls Analyst (DLA – OMB A‑123) Location: Hybrid / Onsite at DLA MSCs Industry: Federal Government Consulting (DoD) Travel: Limited About the Role Join our team supporting the Defense Logistics Agency’s (DLA) Risk Management and Internal Control (RMIC) program. You’ll help develop, implement, and assess internal controls, support audit readiness, and strengthen risk management activities across major DLA commands. Responsibilities • Support RMIC activities aligned with OMB A‑123 and GAO Green Book, • Develop process documentation (process maps, narratives, SOPs), • Conduct process walkthroughs and identify control gaps, • Prepare Test of Design (TOD) and Test of Effectiveness (TOE) plans, • Execute control testing and document results, • Maintain RMIC documentation (risk registers, RCMs, ICEPs, CAPs), • Draft reports, briefings, and recurring program updates, • Assist with Corrective Action Plans and closure packages, • Support PBC requests for auditors and DLA HQQualifications, • Bachelor’s degree, • 4+ years in financial management, audit readiness, or internal controls, • 1–2+ years supporting federal internal control programs (DoD/DLA preferred), • Knowledge of OMB A‑123 and GAO Green Book, • Experience with process documentation and business process analysis Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
