In-Office: Based full-time at the CELSIUS® Brand Studio in Louisville, KY Travel Requirements: This position requires up to 15% domestic travel People Management Responsibilities: No Role Type: Full-Time Position Overview As the Prepress Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in preparing and optimizing artwork files for production across Alani Nu’s fast-growing wellness portfolio. This is your opportunity to bring your technical expertise in prepress, color management, and packaging workflows to a brand that’s redefining health and wellness. You’ll bring hands-on experience with advanced prepress tools, a deep understanding of multiple print processes, and the ability to ensure flawless print-ready output that meets the highest standards of accuracy and quality. You’ll thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with creative, production, and vendor partners to deliver excellence across packaging and labeling initiatives. Requirements • Experience: 3+ years of hands-on prepress experience in the printing or packaging industry, • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Communications, Print Technology, or related field, • Expertise in ESKO Suite (Studio, DeskPack) and Hybrid Software Packz, • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop with strong retouching and file optimization skills, • Experience managing minimum dot (mindot) settings, total area coverage (TAC), and maximum ink limit configurations, • Knowledge of Flexographic, Offset, Gravure, and Digital printing processes, • Proven experience with GMG Color System and GMG OpenColor for contract proofing and color management, • Understanding of ISO, G7, Fogra, and Pantone standards, • Strong communication, time management, and troubleshooting skills, • Experience attending press approvals and collaborating with vendors, • Background in consumer packaging, labeling, or regulated industries such as food or pharmaceuticals, • Familiarity with workflow automation, RIP integration, and sustainable packaging practices Key Responsibilities • Prepare, inspect, and optimize artwork for Flexo, Offset, Gravure, and Digital presses, • Use ESKO Studio, DeskPack, and Hybrid Software Packz for layout refinement, preflighting, and print preparation, • Manage mindot preservation and maximum ink limit settings to ensure high-quality print results, • Generate and validate barcodes for accuracy, placement, and scan reliability, • Conduct precise color correction and retouching in Adobe Photoshop for color consistency across devices, • Manage proofing and color workflows with GMG Color System and GMG OpenColor, • Apply trapping, overprint, knockouts, and layering strategies tailored to press requirements, • Maintain quality and accuracy while meeting strict production deadlines, • Comprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision benefits, • Long- and short-term disability, • Life insurance, • 10 Vacation days per year subject to accrual policy, • 11 Company paid holidays, • 401(k) with Company match, • Identity theft and legal services The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and location. The final offer will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
