WHAT YOU’LL DO We are seeking a Salesforce Architect who blends deep Salesforce expertise with strong hands-on development skills, someone who can design scalable solutions and actively build and optimize them. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable Salesforce solutions (Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.), including custom development with Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC), while guiding a small cross-functional team through the full software development lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across IT and business units to gather requirements and translate them into high-quality Salesforce solutions that drive business value. This position is ideal for a proactive problem-solver who is passionate about both strategic architecture and hands-on execution. Major Duties and Responsibilities Architect & Build Solutions • Define and support the technical direction for the Salesforce platform in alignment with enterprise data, integration, and security strategies., • Manage a multi-org environment supporting marketing, lead-to-quote, order management, and service management., • Perform hands-on development using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and complex integrations to implement scalable and maintainable solutions in Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud., • Partner with business stakeholders to conduct discovery sessions, gather requirements, and map business processes., • Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications., • Lead the end-to-end Salesforce software development lifecycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and release governance., • Establish coding standards, perform code reviews, and maintain DevOps processes including Git and CI/CD pipelines., • Lead and mentor a small Salesforce team of developers and admins., • Design and optimize data models, automation, and Salesforce security/sharing configurations to ensure data integrity and compliance at scale., • Develop strategies for large data volumes (LDV) and performance optimization., • Direct data migration planning and execution for major releases., • Manage identity and access controls including SSO, OAuth, SAML, and all other identity & access management (IAM) considerations., • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure Salesforce capabilities support key business priorities., • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, AI initiatives, and delivery frameworks., • Evaluate new Salesforce features, AppExchange products, and platform innovations, and recommend improvements., • Balance out-of-the-box capabilities with custom development while considering long-term technical debt. You are a technical leader and problem-solver with deep Salesforce platform expertise and strong hands-on development experience. You take ownership, work effectively across teams, and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions aligned to business needs. Technical Expertise • 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience with Apex, LWC, flows, and integrations., • 3+ years in a Salesforce Architect or senior technical role., • Advanced experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and API integrations., • Strong knowledge of Salesforce data architecture, security/sharing models, and governor limits., • Experience with Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Einstein/AI capabilities., • Experience with enterprise integration patterns, middleware, and ETL tools (e.g., Mulesoft, Boomi)., • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, including user story definition, backlog management, and release planning., • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor developers and administrators., • Experience driving adoption, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives., • Strong architectural governance experience and ability to enforce standards and best practices., • Ability to influence stakeholders, including at the executive level., • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, • Additional certifications such as Salesforce Security Specialist, Integration Architect, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred, • Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD platforms, • Experience in telecommunications and/or retail industry environments Our hybrid work model and business casual environment support collaboration, teamwork, and productivity while promoting a healthy work-life balance across the organization.
