Job Description Position Overview: The Associate Director will serve as a highly visible ambassador for the school and will build strong relationships with prospective students, parents, middle schools, parish communities, alumnae, and other community partners. This person is responsible for all aspects of the admissions and enrollment process. S/he is responsible for the internal department management of admissions, print publications, advertising, and marketing efforts in coordination with the Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic communicator who is organized, collaborative, personable, and passionate about helping young women discover their potential in a faith-filled educational environment. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Admissions and Enrollment ● Develop and implement annual admissions and enrollment strategies and recruitment events ● Travel on behalf of SJA to recruit, engage, and cultivate prospective students and families throughout the admissions process ● Develop and implement the annual Open House event ● Recruit and select current SJA student ambassadors for recruitment events and visits ● Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective families, responding promptly and professionally to inquiries, questions, and requests for information ● Conduct individual and group tours, shadow visits, information sessions, student interviews, and other admissions activities ● Develop meaningful relationships with prospective students and families and help them understand the academic, spiritual, extracurricular, and community opportunities available at Saint Joan Antida HS ● Follow up consistently with prospective families throughout the admissions funnel to encourage engagement and enrollment ● Assist with the review and processing of applications and supporting materials ● Maintain, analyze, and report admissions and enrollment data, including inquiries, applications, acceptances, enrollment, withdrawals, retention, conversion/yield rates, and other key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout the admissions cycle ● Support re-enrollment initiatives and strategies designed to retain current students and families ● Develop and maintain enrollment projections and forecasts using historical enrollment trends, current pipeline activity, demographic data, and recruitment results ● Meet enrollment goals for each school year as determined by the President and Board of Directors Recruitment & Community Engagement ● Establish and maintain strong relationships with Catholic, private, and public elementary/middle schools, parish communities, community organizations, and other student referral sources ● Represent SJA at school fairs, high school nights, parish events, community events, and other recruitment opportunities ● Develop creative and effective strategies for reaching prospective students across the Milwaukee community and surrounding areas ● Partner with faculty, staff, current students, alumnae, and parents to share the school's story and strengthen its admissions presence ● Coordinate and/or support student ambassador and shadow student programs ● Help develop compelling admissions communications, presentations, and materials that articulate the school's mission and value proposition Communication & Marketing ● Communicate the school's mission, academic programs, traditions, and student experience in a compelling and authentic manner ● Assist with email campaigns, newsletters, social media content, print materials, and other admissions communications ● Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to support enrollment-focused initiatives. ● Ensure prospective families receive consistent, timely, and personalized communication throughout the admissions process Mission & School Community ● Promote and model the Catholic identity, mission, and values of the school in all interactions ● Demonstrate a genuine commitment to the education and empowerment of young women. ● Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for students and families from diverse backgrounds ● Participate in school events, celebrations, and community activities as appropriate ● Collaborate effectively with administrators, faculty, staff, students, parents, alumnae, and community partners ● Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment in all admissions matters Qualifications: Required ● Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university ● Minimum 2 years experience in admissions and enrollment ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills ● Strong interpersonal, team-building, and relationship-building skills ● High energy, attention to detail, and the ability to follow through and organize effectively ● Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced school environment ● Comfort speaking to groups and interacting with students, parents, educators, and community members ● Proficiency with standard office technology, including Microsoft Office or Google Workspace ● Experience with production of a variety of media particularly print publications and promotional videos ● Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education Preferred ● Experience working in a Catholic school, independent school, college/university admissions office, or other educational setting ● Familiarity with the Milwaukee educational and Catholic community, as well as community
