Job Description YOUR IMPACT This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Overnight Housekeeping Staff are vital to the success of the organization by creating a safe and healthy environment for all. This team member will be responsible for detail-oriented cleaning that is unable to be accomplished during regular hours of operation. EXPECTATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensures Y is attractive and clean by completing all duties listed on the assigned area. May perform wet and dust mopping, dusting, baseboard cleaning, trash removal, recycling, window washing, vacuuming, restrooms, showers, and other general detailed cleaning in assigned areas., • Replaces soap, paper towels and other supplies., • Operates related motorized and non-motorized equipment., • Records and reports all needed repairs., • Ensures YMCA building and property is secure during shift. Reports incidents and hazardous conditions to Senior Properties Director., • Ensures a strong focus on character development and diversity, equity and inclusion throughout programming., • Reports damaged equipment or safety hazards promptly. Positions 1 & 2: SwedishAmerican Riverfront YMCA Part Time, Non-Exempt Available to Sub Monday through Friday, 10:00 pm - 1:00 am $18.00 per hour QUALIFICATIONS • Six months or more of related experience preferred., • Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents., • Ability to report and record maintenance requests., • Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment., • Basic understanding of the upkeep and care of equipment., • Understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use., • CPR, AED and First Aid Certifications required within 90 days., • Praesidium Academy trainings., • Prefer knowledge of, and previous experience with, diverse populations.
