Job DescriptionDescription: Internship Dates: June 1, 2026 - July 31, 2026 Hours: Part-Time; Up to 24 per week Compensation: $20/hour LEO Events is searching for driven, motivated, and eager students to intern with our team. Opportunities for summer 2026 vary depending on interest, competencies, and skillset. Ideal candidates are currently enrolled or have recently graduated from a 4-year university with a concentration in hospitality management, communications, public relations, broadcast media, entertainment, film & video, or another related field. This internship provides hands-on experience in an exciting, fast-paced, and collaborative environment, with ample opportunities to develop skills and learn from experienced professionals. Interns will be assigned dual roles, selected from (but not limited to) the areas listed below. All interns must be based in one of our three office locations, as remote work is not available. Candidates will be evaluated through their resume, portfolio, and interview to determine the best fit for their placements. *Internship onboarding and orientation will take place May 21–22, 2026, in Nashville, TN. Attendance is mandatory, and all expenses are covered. Production Roles & Responsibilities: • Assist with pre-production schedules and timelines, • Book and manage travel logistics for programs, • Maintain meeting notes and contact lists, • Assist with post-event reconciliations, • Assist on video/media projects and production timelines, • Collaborate with media team to brainstorm and develop creative ideas for new content, • Assist during local production shoots by setting up equipment/props to ensure a smooth workflow, • Aid as needed in post-production tasks, such as video editing, sound mixing, and graphics/animations, • Help maintain and organize production equipment and studio space Event Operations Roles & Responsibilities: • Support local events and operations execution, • Attend site visits, • Communicate with vendors, • Execute onsite operations as directed, • Assist with logistics and transportation needs of certain client movements, • Assist operations team with end-of-quarter financial reconciliations, • Assist the design team in creating graphics for digital and print collateral, including social media posts, website assets, email campaigns, presentations, and other marketing-related materials, • Produce items for company Initiatives and internal events, • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and conceptualize design ideas that effectively communicate LEO's brand message and resonate with LEO's target audience, • Support the design team in the production process by preparing files for print and web, ensuring that product is optimized properly for quality and consistency Meeting Services Roles & Responsibilities: • Support Meeting Services team:, • Manage registration and attendees, • Meeting coordination duties as necessary, • Maintain accurate and organized files for internal and external programs, • Gather and prepare data in preparation of upcoming projects, • Identify future needs to complete projects, • Support meeting services, such as managing agendas, meeting specs, diagrams, BEOs, signage plans, materials fulfillment, shipping, etc., • Coordinate client site visits, • Assist with contracts and invoices, • Develop and maintain relationships with venues and vendors, both locally and through program coordination efforts, • Assist with financial reconciliation as requested, • Assist with executing small-to-medium meetings, events and/or conferences, as the meeting services lead Employee is required to stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods of time. Employee will be in a well-lighted, heated, and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Driver’s license and clean driving record required.
