Position requirements include: • New Jersey Teacher Certification in English, Math, Science, and/or History., • New Jersey Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) certification is preferred. One year of teaching experience is preferred., • At least one year of Special Education teaching is preferred. Middle School Teacher responsibilities include: providing individualized teaching strategies in accordance with each student's IEP and individual goals and objectives; implementing modifications and accommodations in the classroom and in testing/assessment situations; collecting and interpreting data to teach responsively; administering periodic assessments to determine present levels of performance; participating in school staff meetings and parent meetings and clearly and consistently communicating and collaborating with educational team members, school leaders and parents/guardians.
