Job Description Here’s what you need to know: We need you to help our students get to and through college! As a campus aide, you will help to support both our instructional and non-instructional teammates by offering a helping hand at key points during school hours. A bit more about you … You’re really flexible. You are super reliable. You can manage a lot of tasks that cover a variety of areas. Additionally, you have a passion for working in a school setting. Here’s what you’ll be doing: • Supporting Main Office operations, helping with daily tasks such as completing copy requests for teachers or restocking the teacher workroom with supplies, • Providing support during lunch and recess, • Supporting teachers in their classroom with projects and other events, • Assisting the School Operations Manager with special projects, as needed, • Providing front desk support, including answering door buzzers and phone calls, directing visitors/calls to the appropriate person, and providing support to families and students, • Supporting the School Operations Manager with student enrollment and registrationQualifications Must Haves (ie: what you need to rock at this role): • A deep belief in the mission of KIPP New Jersey and a desire to be a part of the team, • A team player who is friendly and wants to have fun every day, • Love for kids and a desire to build strong relationships with them and their families, • Open to feedback and flexible in new and changing situations, • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly, • Fluent in both English and Spanish, • Experience working in a school setting, • Connection to the Newark community Additional Information This is a part time role and the compensation is $18.00 an hour KIPP New Jersey | KIPP Miami is an equal opportunity employer
