Job Description TLF's Junior Full Stack Web Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining our Shopify Plus headless storefront using React Router. This role combines frontend development with Shopify store management, supporting our web team in executing A/B tests, launching promotions, managing product operations, and optimizing our e-commerce experience for conversion and performance. This position will work closely with our Developer and CRO UI/UX Specialist. This role requires strong React/Typescript skills (this is the primary requirement), with Shopify Plus and ecommerce experience being a significant advantage. The ideal candidate must be flexible, adaptable, and ready to tackle diverse challenges in a fast-paced e-commerce environment. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE BELOW): React Frontend Development (Primary Focus): • Build and maintain React components for our headless Shopify storefront, • Develop new features: product cards, collection pages, filters, navigation, cart, reviews, and landing pages, • Translate Figma designs into clean, responsive, pixel-perfect code, • Implement UI/UX improvements and conversion optimization updates, • Build and launch weekly A/B tests and UI/UX experiments, • Set up tracking and monitor test performance, • Implement winning variations and optimize for conversions, • Launch promotional campaigns: flash sales, banners, timers, holiday promos, • Handle day-to-day site updates: bug fixes, navigation changes, content updates, • Understand and operate in Shopify Admin, Shopify Apps and perform store operations, • Support product launches: help with uploading, building, and maintaining products, images, managing metafields, tags, alt text, and attributes, • Experienced in the use of Shopify flows and tagging flows, • Page speed, Core Web Vitals, script loading, image optimization, • Technical SEO, indexing, structured data, metadata, crawlability, • Navigation logic, mobile responsiveness, user flows, friction points, • WCAG compliance, semantic HTML, contrast, keyboard navigation, • Vulnerabilities, outdated dependencies, permissions, data handling, • Codebase health, CMS structure, theme/app architecture, deployment readiness Required Experience: • Strong React proficiency with 3+ years of professional experience, • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+), • Experience building responsive, mobile-first web applications, • Ability to translate design mockups (Figma) into functional code, • Experience working with REST APIs, • Familiarity with Git version control, • Extremely proficient in Google Lighthouse, • Extremely proficient PageSpeed Insights, • Extremely proficient Google Search Console, • Extremely proficient Screaming Frog (or similar app), • Extremely proficient SEMrush (or similar app), • Extremely proficient Heatmaps (or similar app), • Shopify or Shopify Plus experience (admin, apps, metafields, product management, Shopify Flows, and Shopify Functions), • E-commerce platform experience and understanding of online retail operations, • Knowledge of headless commerce architecture (React Router V7, Remix, Shopify Hydrogen, NextJS), • Experience with Shopify workflows and catalog management, • Basic Node.js/express, • MongoDB, • Tailwind, • A/B testing platforms (Convert), • Data-driven with strong attention to detail and committed to excellence in your work product, • Flexible and adaptable, be able to switch between coding and store management tasks, • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments - can handle shifting priorities and urgent requests and successfully manage multiple projects, • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, • Strong communication and presentation skills, • Excels at being a team player and collaborating, and has a “can-do” attitude that exhibits a positive impact on their peers, • Eagerness to learn and grow skill setsCompany DescriptionTLF was established in 2012 as a premium athletic and lifestyle apparel brand, pioneering a new category of Gym-To-Street® Wear products engineered for your toughest training sessions, designed to carry you through the rest of your day for wherever life takes you.
