Job DescriptionProduction Supervisor • Job Title: Production Supervisor, • Location: Fort Worth, TX, • Salary: $80,000 - 100,000 Key Responsibilities • Lead and supervise production shift to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards., • Schedule work assignments, coordinate staffing and shift coverage, and manage overtime to meet production demands., • Coach, mentor, and train operators on standard work, machine operation, tooling changes, part handling, and safety procedures., • Monitor production processes and product quality; implement corrective actions and process improvements to reduce scrap and rework., • Troubleshoot machinery, tooling, and production line issues; collaborate with maintenance and engineering for timely repairs and root-cause analysis., • Apply Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to identify waste, streamline processes, and improve throughput and efficiency., • Manage inventory of parts, components, and tooling to minimize downtime and ensure material availability for production runs., • Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and performance metrics; use ERP/MRP systems for scheduling and production tracking., • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability., • Associate degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; Bachelors degree preferred., • 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience and at least 5 years in a supervisory or lead role in a production environment., • Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing processes, part handling, components, tooling, and machine operation. Ideally, aluminum extrusion., • Experience with Lean manufacturing tools and Six Sigma methodology (Green Belt preferred)., • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose mechanical and process issues quickly., • Experience with production scheduling, capacity planning, and ERP/MRP systems., • Excellent coaching, training, and team development skills with a focus on performance management., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and lead change., • Ability to read mechanical drawings and basic manufacturing documentation; familiarity with tooling setup and changeover procedures., • Full Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision), • FSA & HRA, • 401k match, • Discretionary bonus, • PTO & Holidays, • Tuition Reimbursement, • Workers Comp - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
