Job Description The Sales and Design Consultant is responsible for generating new revenue by running qualified in-home sales and design consultations with homeowners seeking premium bathroom and kitchen remodels. This role leverages the world-class ActionCloser System to train, sell, and serve customers, allowing us to close deals in a single sit while creating a genuine Life Betterment experience for every homeowner. The Sales and Design Consultant is contracted to run appointments as scheduled. This is a full-commission position designed for driven, self-motivated closers who want upside earning potential. Compensation: $120,000 - $300,000 Responsibilities: • Run 8–12 qualified in-home design consultations per week as scheduled by the Appointment Center., • Achieve a personal close rate at or above 33% every month., • Present RenovationsNOW's premium product lines and sell on quality, design, and value — never on price alone., • Follow the ActionCloser Sales System in 100% of appointments with zero deviation., • Submit complete, accurate contracts, measure sheets, and financing documents through RenovationsNOW's CRM within 24 hours of each appointment., • Attend all mandatory sales meetings, training sessions, and role-play exercises., • Take each project to the lowest cost possible without sacrificing margin standards., • Generate a minimum of one referral per month through proactive customer relationship building., • Achieve a customer satisfaction score at or above the company benchmark on post-sale surveys., • Complete and remain current on RenovationsNOW's required reading/listening curriculum (ActionCloser, 10x Employee)., • Proactively communicate schedule conflicts, cancellations, or low-quality leads to the Sales Team Manager within the same business day., • Represent RenovationsNOW's core values in every customer, teammate, and vendor interaction.Qualifications:, • Results Orientation: Relentlessly driven to meet and exceed sales metrics with urgency and consistency., • Persuasion & Closing: Ability to communicate premium value, handle objections confidently, and guide customers to a decision in one sitting., • Emotional Intelligence: Reads people quickly, builds genuine rapport, and adapts communication style to each homeowner., • Coachability: Fully open to coaching; implements feedback rapidly and without defensiveness., • Process Discipline: Follows the ActionCloser System without shortcuts — every appointment, every time., • Active Listening: Identifies underlying homeowner needs and pain points and matches them precisely to RenovationsNOW solutions., • Integrity: Honest in all interactions; never overpromises, misrepresents, or creates false expectations to close a deal., • Self-Management: Manages schedule, energy, and activity with discipline as an independent contractor., • Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of bathroom and kitchen remodeling offerings, materials, timelines, and processes., • Accountability: Takes full ownership of personal results — wins and misses alike — without making excuses., • Competitive Drive: Internally motivated to be the top performer on the team and grow within the RenovationsNOW ecosystem., • Core Values Alignment: Consistently demonstrates Make Life Better, Truth at All Costs, Think First Act Next, Accountability, and Serve Others.About Company RenovationsNOW is Metro-Detroit's premier kitchen and bathroom remodeling company, founded by Ryan Marsh with a mission to restore integrity, trust, and excellence to the construction industry.
