Job Description Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in personal injury law to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience and must be bilingual in Spanish and English. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple cases, assist attorneys with all stages of litigation, and communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking clients. Key Responsibilities: • Case Management: Handle all aspects of case preparation, including drafting and filing legal documents, pleadings, motions, and discovery., • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for Spanish-speaking clients, providing regular updates on case status and addressing client inquiries., • Discovery: Assist in the discovery process by organizing and reviewing medical records, police reports, and other relevant case documentation., • Document Preparation: Prepare legal documents such as correspondence, legal memoranda, and pleadings for attorney review., • Litigation Support: Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials by organizing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and handling trial logistics., • Calendaring: Manage the attorney’s calendar, schedule depositions, court dates, and other important deadlines., • Research: Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law and statutes to assist attorneys with case preparation., • Client Interviews: Interview clients and witnesses to gather information pertinent to personal injury claims., • File Maintenance: Maintain case files, ensuring that all documents are organized and up-to-date., • Bilingual (Spanish/English): Required., • Experience: Minimum of 2 years working as a litigation paralegal, specifically in personal injury law., • Education: Paralegal certificate or degree preferred., • Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with personal injury litigation, including discovery processes, legal terminology, and procedures., • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, legal research software, and case management software., • Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously., • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English., • Professionalism: Ability to work well in a fast-paced legal environment and handle confidential information with discretion.
