About the role We are looking for a candidate that loves creating content and has a genuine passion for social media and the hair + beauty industry. Candidates should have strong creative and video skills, as well as a deep knowledge of social media and a finger on the pulse of what’s coming next within the platform and on social. We want a self-starter who isn’t afraid to try new things and comes with loads of ideas to promote the brand. As a Social Media Content Creator, you will be responsible for producing content, as well as scheduling and engaging with our community. In this role you will help to create and deliver high-quality visual & written content for social media and digital advertising. You will be responsible for sourcing props and equipment, capturing compelling footage, and completing post-production editing for all our channels, including our website, digital adverts, and organic social media as well as assisting on out of house shoots. You will also work on our websites in collaboration with our Ecommerce team: developing & designing, maintaining and uploading content on all sites. Showcasing all of the content produced on email marketing newsletters across all of our audiences. We are looking for a versatile, passionate and resourceful individual who can handle end-to-end content creation and deliver high-quality output consistently. Someone with a passion for design and creativity with a good knowledge of packages and apps which can be used to best advantage for content creation. You’ll have a collaborative mindset but also be able to plan, create and deliver great content independently. You’ll work directly with the Brand & Creative Content Managers to ideate and create visual content, with a key focus on photography, videography and animation. What you'll do • Create engaging and informative content for various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media and marketing materials;, • Conduct research on industry-related topics to ensure accuracy and relevance of content;, • Collaborate with the brand team to develop content strategies and campaigns;, • Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, grammar, and brand consistency;, • Create multiple videos each week that align with brand messaging and deliver on key metrics such as views and engagement. These videos will feature our products, team, TikTok/Instagram trends and influencers using the most popular transitions and everything else the platform has to offer., • Creating great visual online content, including writing engaging copy in line with the established tone of voice for each brand, • Deliver email marketing campaigns (e-shot), to engage with our professional and consumer audiences, • Plan and storyboard videos for our professional & consumer audiences, • Create short form videos (Reels/Tiktok) in house, • Develop and implement new ideas to leverage TikTok/Instagram trends, • Reply to comment, interact, and engage with our community., • Develop and brainstorm ideas to increase engagement and follower growth, • Produce and film content shoots;, • Post production and editing of video and images to be ready for use across all our channels, with a focus on colour correction, video and sound editing;, • Work with our Brand & Ecomm Teams to set up a content calendar and suggest content for digital ads, affiliates and organic social posts for Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn., • Continually analyse the needs of the brand and then suggest ideas for how those needs come to life through various platforms and their appropriate content;, • Ability to shoot products, experimenting various styles and creating special effects through props and textures;, • Be flexible to shoot great content, working with influencers in collaboration with our influencer manager;, • Work collaboratively with other team members and external partners to ensure a consistent, cohesive brand perception and visual identity, bringing creativity to all content you are producing. Who you are • These are the skills and experience we’re looking for., • Even if you don’t tick every box, but feel you’re right for us, we’d still love to hear from you., • 3 years’ experience (or more) developing your social media and online engagement skills, • Online engagement and project management prowess., • A growth mindset to learning and development., • Ability to analyse content performance and identify opportunities;, • Keep ahead of new developments & trends on social platforms and apply these learnings to your work;, • Great knowledge in photography and videography is a must;, • Excellent communication and collaboration skills;, • Editing & production skills for photography and videography;, • A keen eye for detail and design;, • Experience using Klaviyo for email marketing would be helpful but not essential as we can show you the ropes;, • Technical knowledge with in-house studio and gear such as lights, camera and microphone is a bonus;, • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, After Effects, CapCut and Capture One would be great but not essential – you may have others to suggest!, • Experience in organising the content produced;, • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines;, • Sound editing, motion and animation skills would be an added bonus Please note, this is an office based role.
