We're looking for a creative, trend-aware Social Content Executive to help elevate LNER's brand across our key social channels. In this fast-paced role, you'll capture and share authentic stories from across the LNER route, showcasing our people, places and customers while bringing our unique tone of voice to life in real time. Working as part of the Social Content team, you'll help deliver our social media strategy by producing rich, on-brand content informed by real-time insights and data. You'll spot opportunities, respond to live moments, and build relationships across the business to amplify messages, enhance customer experience and strengthen our presence in the travel space. Within this role you'll also be involved in; • Bring the LNER brand to life across social media by creating standout content that celebrates our locations, people, products and customer experiences., • Produce high-quality social content for live events and moments along the LNER route, ensuring our channels reflect the excitement and personality of our brand., • Engage proactively with customers online, nurturing positive conversations and maintaining excellent digital relationships., • Develop data-informed content calendars, using insights from tools such as Sprout Social to shape creative ideas., • Deliver real-time social content activations, spotting opportunities and responding quickly to live moments., • Champion social media best practice, staying ahead of trends and helping to evolve our approach., • Share insights and collaborate across teams to enhance the customer experience through social storytelling., • Use your Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro and digital production skills to develop standout visuals, videos and imagery. What you'll need: • Creative storytelling & social media expertise: Passionate about digital engagement, with deep knowledge of platforms (X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube) and how to tailor content for each., • Content production skills: Ideally proficient in Adobe Photoshop and creative content design., • Customer-first mindset: Calm under pressure, accountable, and proactive in resolving issues to deliver outstanding experiences., • Strong communication & relationship building: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to connect effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and customers., • Problem-solving & solution focus: Creative thinker with a positive, “can-do” attitude who turns challenges into opportunities., • Organisation & adaptability: Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities, and flexible in approach to meet business needs., • Self-motivation & accountability: Enthusiastic, driven, and thrives when taking ownership and responsibility., • Business & customer insight: Understanding of organisational objectives, KPIs, and customer experience measures (e.g., NPS, Customer Satisfaction)., • Data-driven approach: Skilled at interpreting insights from tools such as Sprout Social to improve performance., • Industry awareness: Knowledge of operational processes within the rail industry (desirable).
