Financial Administrator - Edinburgh - Salary up to £29,000 DOE\n\n CBW is excited to be working with a leading facilities company based in Edinburgh. The Administrator will support daily operations within the finance/administration team by handling scheduling, task logging, documentation, client and supplier communication, and ensuring financial and compliance records are accurately maintained. \n\n Key Responsibilities:\n\nAssist the finance/administration team with day-to-day tasks, including handling emails, phone calls, and general correspondence.\n\nMaintain and update financial records, spreadsheets, and databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance.\n\nPrepare reports, presentations, and meeting minutes as required.\n\nProcess purchase orders, invoices, payments, and procurement requests, ensuring timely approvals and accurate record-keeping.\n\nAct as the first point of contact for finance or administrative queries from staff, suppliers, and clients.\n\nTrack and monitor financial transactions, work requests, and outstanding payments, following up to ensure timely resolution.\n\nLiaise with internal teams and external suppliers to coordinate payments, reporting, and administrative tasks.\n\nMonitor and follow up on outstanding administrative or financial tasks to ensure deadlines are met and issues are resolved promptly.\n\nPerson Specification:\n\nStrong financial administrative and organisational skills.\nExcellent communication and customer service abilities.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and FM software (e.g., CAFM systems).\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.\nKnowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements (desirable).\nExperience in working within a Facilities Management environment (preferred).\nPrevious experience in an administrative role, ideally within FM or a similar environment.\nFamiliarity with FM operations, property management, or building maintenance (advantageous).\nStrong IT skills and experience working with databases and reporting systems.Salary & Benefits:\n\nSalary up to £29,000 DOE\n25 days annual leave plus bank holidays\nGenerous workplace pension scheme\nTraining, development & progression opportunities\nMonday to Friday 8am - 5pm
