Group Practice Manager\n Salary £55-65K \n Flexibility for Part time or Full time \n \n We are proud to be supporting a progressive and values-driven private healthcare organisation in their search for a Group Practice Manager.\n \nJob Summary\n \n The Group Practice Manager will take overall responsibility for the operational leadership and management of their multi Practices. This is a pivotal role, directly supervising a team that includes 2 Deputies, 4 Site Managers/Leads, an Assistant Service Manager, and other staff as required.\n \n You will be accountable for delivering high standards of leadership, operational oversight, and service delivery, while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. The role offers flexibility and could be part-time depending on the candidate, but it will require adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the business.\n Key Responsibilities\n \n Operational Leadership & Practice Oversight\n \nLead the day-to-day operations across 4 branch surgery sites in Coventry, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. \nFoster strong communication channels between practices, staff, service users, and the Alliance to ensure transparency and collaboration. \nCollaborate with Data Analysts and Practice teams to develop and maintain robust performance reporting tools, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and opportunities to the Head of Operations. Strategic Planning & Performance Management\n \nSupport the development and reporting against clear, measurable objectives and outcomes, implementing corrective actions when needed to ensure continuous improvement. \nSupervise and mentor the Practice Management team, providing daily guidance and formal supervision to build a high-performing, motivated workforce. \nFacilitate and lead formal meetings, training sessions, and updates—occasionally off-site and outside standard hours—to support staff development and service excellence. Team Development & Workforce Planning\n \nDelegate responsibilities effectively, ensuring staff receive appropriate support, supervision, and training tailored to their development needs. \nMonitor workloads, deadlines, and performance across practices, producing insightful reports to inform decision-making. \nOversee recruitment, induction, and ongoing development of new staff, contributing to a culture of learning and growth. Quality Assurance & Compliance\n \nDrive quality improvement by auditing QOF and Enhanced Services performance to maximise income and service impact. \nStay abreast of primary care IT developments, including DoH initiatives like EPRs and disease coding, and ensure timely updates to the management team. \nEnsure compliance with NHS and statutory obligations, working closely with the Safety & Quality team and CRGPA colleagues to develop and implement new protocols. Culture & Engagement\n \nCultivate a positive, inclusive environment where all team members feel valued and empowered to contribute to practice development. \nPromote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging adaptability and proactive change management. \nLead the development and management of the Practice/PCN Patient Participation Group (PPG), ensuring effective recruitment and engagement systems are in place. Service Excellence & Patient Experience\n \nTake a strategic approach to enhancing patient services, ensuring alignment with local and national guidelines. \nOversee appointment systems, repeat prescribing processes, and patient access strategies to meet demand and improve satisfaction. \nMaintain robust systems for patient feedback, complaints, and significant event reporting, ensuring learning is shared and acted upon. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement\n \nBuild strong partnerships with internal teams, external stakeholders, PCNs, and Warwick Medical School to enhance service delivery and student experience. \nRepresent the practices within the local PCN, ensuring active participation and alignment with broader healthcare initiatives. \nWork flexibly across sites and within a matrix-style environment, contributing to a cohesive and integrated service model. Finance & Business Continuity\n \nResponsible for budget management and financial oversight, including petty cash coordination with the Finance Team. \nEnsure timely submission of claims and audits, maintaining accurate records for verification and compliance. \nDevelop and maintain a comprehensive Business Continuity Plan tailored to the needs of the Practices.
