The Grocery Wine Vault is looking to employ one Assistant Manager and one Sales Assistant Full Time to join our small team at our shop in Shoreditch. We stock over 500 wines with a selection of classic, organic, and natural wines and run a small adjoining café/bar. We are looking for the following attributes or experience: A Genuine passion and knowledge of wine, spirits & Craft Beer. WSET 2 preferred but not necessary if one possess equivalent knowledge. Excellent spoken and written communication and customer service skills. Strong ability to build rapport with local customers and advise on wine, spirits, and specialist beer purchases at all levels. A high level of integrity together with a positive, driven, and self-motivating attitude. A well-developed sales instinct and commercial awareness to grow general sales and private client tasting opportunities. Organisational skills and an attention to detail as well as being energetic and able to lift heavy cases. A good degree of common sense as well as the ability to problem solve and be flexible where required. Ability to take responsibility for the day to day running of the wine department.
