Job Description Job Summary: The Print Production Associate is responsible for operating high-volume digital printing and finishing equipment to meet customer requirements. This role involves handling print jobs end-to-end, including job intake, production, quality checks, and delivery, while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Production & Equipment Operations • Operate high-volume digital printers, copiers, and scanning equipment, • Use finishing equipment such as paper cutters, laminators, inserters, folding, and hole-punch machines, • Perform file/document conversion and prepare files for print production, • Integrate variable data into print templates as required Job Management & Coordination, • Receive, review, and log customer print jobs electronically, • Estimate, schedule, and track production jobs, • Maintain job records and store files for future reuse (including backups), • Act as a point of contact for customer requests and job updates Quality Control & Optimization, • Perform quality inspections before, during, and after production runs, • Inspect files for formatting issues such as fonts, resolution, and alignment, • Optimize document design for print quality and reproduction Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting, • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of production equipment, • Monitor and report equipment issues; coordinate with service personnel., • Collect and submit meter readings for equipment Data Handling & Documentation, • Process forms and update information using PC applications, • Maintain logs for reporting and billing purposes, • Index and store electronic materials for distribution (CD, disk, or other media) Customer Support & Training, • Provide basic training to end-users on equipment usage, • Support customer needs in a fast-paced production environment, • Ensure professional communication and service delivery Required Skills:, • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), • Ability to create spreadsheets, use formulas, sort/filter data, and generate reports, • Strong computer skills (file management, email, data entry, internet usage), • Knowledge of network devices (printers, shared drives, etc.), • Basic math skills (percentages, multiplication, division), • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability Preferred Skills:, • Experience with high-volume print and finishing equipment, • Familiarity with document management or print production workflows, • Ability to coach or mentor team members Education:, • High School Diploma or equivalent (Required), • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, • Comfortable working in a production/print environment Soft Skills:, • Professionalism and business maturity, • Strong communication skills, • Time management and organization, • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, • Team collaboration and mentoring ability Education: High School Company DescriptionCompunnel Inc., established in 1994; is a leading provider of Staffing, IT/Software, e-Learning/Training, Business Intelligence, and Cloud Solutions.
