Job DescriptionSalary: Job Title: Director of Ministry Engagement Department: Ministry Reports to: Senior Director of Ministry Works closely with: Campus XP, Discipleship, NextGen, Care, Outreach Status: Full Time, salary exempt, avg 40+ hrs/week. Salary is commensurate with experience. Job Summary The Director of Ministry Systems exists to equip our team to love people the same way God loves us through effective systems, clear data, and actionable insights. This role owns the strategy, health, and utilization of our core platforms and tools to drive engagement, pastoral care, follow-up, and decision-making across all ministries. This is not an IT role or office admin role. It is a ministry leadership role that turns systems into shepherding tools. Responsibilities This is what youll spend the most time on • Systems ownership and strategy, • Pushpay umbrella (Nurture, CCB), Mailchimp, Clearstream, and others, as the organization deems necessary., • Ensure systems are integrated, clean, and scalable., • Build workflows that reduce friction in:, • First-time guest follow-up, • Serving onboarding, • Groups engagement, • Pastoral care tracking, • Data & Insights, • Build (if needed) and maintain dashboards for:, • Attendance trends, • First-time guests (2-4% target), • Engagement pathways (serve, groups, giving), • At-risk individuals (giving, groups, serving), • Translate data into clear insights & next steps, • Partner with Directors to drive decisions through data., • Engagement & Care Systems, • Operationalize pastoral care at scale through systems, • Ensure every person is:, • Seen, known, and followed up with, • Build simple, effective follow-up workflows:, • Text-first communication strategies, • Staff + key leader ownership clarity, • Leverage Nurture to track, • Touchpoints, care needs, engagement signals, • Training & Adoption, • Train staff and key leaders to:, • Use systems confidently, • Interpret dashboards, • Take action on insights, • Create simple guides, SOPs, and workflows, • Drive daily/weekly usage rhythms across staff., • Data Integrity & Administration, • Maintain clean, accurate records across all systems, • Standardize naming conventions, processes, and inputs, • Oversee:, • Background Checks & Needed Training(s), • Team O Roster, Leadership Vacancies, • Reduce Redundancy, • Leadership & Culture Expectations, • Lead with a pastoral heart and operational excellence, • Think like a strategist and execute like a builder, • Brings clarity to complexity, • Champions simplicity and usability, • Operates with high trust, ownership, and follow-through.
