The ABA Therapist will collect data on programs, apply program updates and communicate regularly with a BCBA regarding behavior intervention strategies and teaching methods. Duties/Responsibilities: * Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT) and Natural Environment Teaching (NET) * Follow the prescribed skill acquisition and behavior intervention protocols including toilet training protocols. * Record data on observable client behavior. * Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). * Utilize safe & appropriate handling procedures when working with clients. * Maintain client confidentiality. * Assist BCBAs, ABA Apprentice and fellow ABA Therapists/RBTs with skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments. * Preparing client materials prior to therapy session as instructed. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment. * Train and provide feedback to new ABA Therapists during on-site shadow sessions * Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required trainings with BCBAs and/or ABA Apprentice. * Respond to emails daily. * Same day SOAP note completion * May perform other related duties as assigned.
