Cobble Hill’s two most popular children / tween clothing boutiques are looking for a part time sales associate to join our team. This is a key holder position and does require a high level of accountability and retail experience. We are a small team of fun and hard working professionals who take pride in our customer service and expertise in the children’s market. This is a sales floor position with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales goals along with directed visual merchandising responsibilities. The candidate will work directly with our owner and Senior Manager to make sure the store is running smoothly and efficiently during their shift, making sure that all customer requests, reorders and store needs are being tended. An opportunity for additional growth into the buying aspects of the business are available and encouraged based upon performance. Of course, with opening and closing the store there are other duties that are required such as keeping the store clean and organized, leaving detailed notes for the buyer on any customer requests and reconciling the register. I’m looking for one experienced clothing reseller to help sell my personal wardrobe of approximately 150–200 pre-owned clothing items. Most of the inventory consists of everyday used clothing with a mix of brands, styles, and price points. While there are some higher-value pieces, many items are lower-priced. My goal is to maximize the overall value of the inventory—not simply sell everything as quickly as possible.
