HALO is hiring a Pursuit Strategy Manager, reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing and Sustainability who can turn client requirements and sales inputs into clear, differentiated win strategies and on-brand visual stories. You will own upfront research, collaborate on pursuit strategy, and translate business objectives and cross-functional inputs into cohesive solution narratives that align HALO’s capabilities to client needs. You will then bring that strategy to life through modular, InDesign-based presentations and case histories that scale across HALO’s services. You will coordinate presenters and subject matter experts, support interviews, and join client-facing conversations. What you will do • Collaborate closely with the proposal management team, leading early research and participating in discovery to clarify client objectives, decision criteria, stakeholders, and key business drivers, • Build concise pursuit briefs that define win themes, narrative arc, and proof points for each opportunity, • Translate client requirements, business objectives, and challenges across RFP and non-RFP opportunities into clear, compelling narratives and win strategies, • Create and maintain a modular presentation system in Adobe InDesign and PowerPoint that is brand aligned and easy to tailor by industry, service, and stage, • Develop new slides, graphics, and case histories from sales and SME inputs, • Prepare presenter outlines, assign roles, and facilitate run-throughs so the team is synchronized for interviews, • Coordinate schedules, reviews, and action logs so work stays on time and aligned, • Partner with Proposal Management on timing, alignment, and interview readiness, • Work with pursuit and solutioning teams to shape non-standard requirements and document decisions for the pitch, • Implement a lightweight, repeatable upstream pursuit routine that improves clarity of win themes, decision criteria, and interview flow before proposal handoff, • Improve pitch readiness speed, with a consistent story, clear presenter roles, and documented follow up plans for finalist meetings, • Demonstrate understanding of HALO’s services, brand voice, and voice of the customer, and run projects independently for entry tier projects, • Some travel may be required for client meetings and finalist presentations Requirements: • 3+ years of experience in pursuits, pitch strategy, sales enablement, proposal support, or adjacent B2B services marketing, • Ability to translate business objectives, client challenges, and cross-functional inputs into clear, differentiated narratives and win strategies, • Strong storytelling and synthesis skills, with the ability to distill complex inputs into simple, compelling messages and a cohesive point of view, • Experience working across multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts, with the ability to align inputs, challenge assumptions, and refine positioning, • Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft PowerPoint, including experience building modular presentation systems, • Strong visual communication and content structuring skills, • Solid project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent pursuits and deadlines, • Experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder or enterprise-level sales environments, • Portfolio demonstrating presentation systems, pitch materials, or case histories, • Confident facilitator and presenter, comfortable working with executives and cross-functional teams, • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to bring structure to ambiguous or loosely defined inputs, • Strong writing and editing skills preferred, • Familiarity with merchandise marketing, print, consumer marketing, or uniform business preferred, • Experience with pursuit or capture-style methodologies in professional services or complex enterprise deals preferred Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $120,000 annually. Please note that this pay range serves as a general guideline and reflects a broad spectrum of labor markets across the US. While it is uncommon for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the range, compensation decisions are influenced by various factors.
