Business Development Lead Primary Responsibilities: • Generate quality referrals that convert to clients from assigned territory with the primary goal of bringing in new business. Target accounts include, but are not limited to, hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, assisted living facilities, nursing homes and rehabilitation centers., • Achieve the revenue objectives by establishing and deepening referral relationships with key contacts at RPNs across all territories., • Develop and execute on RPN (Referral Provider Network) strategic vision in assigned territory or as strategically determined, • Establish and maintain KPIs including impressions, referrals, revenue, & service hours, • Maintain accurate records of sales and networking activities with each Referral Provider including impressions, pain points; next steps and follow-up activities using Sales Force., • Generate creative ideas and plan RPN specific marketing events and themes for marketing Home Instead to the community, • Purchase of HI materials used for marketing, giveaways, etc., • Meet in-person and build relationships with Referral Providers in a consultative capacity, utilizing the Sales and Marketing related tools, initiatives and educational resources from Honor/Home Instead to develop and enhance relationships that produce referrals, • Research, plan, schedule, lead, execute and attend Home Instead networking events, presentations, sponsorships, community programs, in-services and vendor fairs., • Attend events in the community including events hosted by RPNs across all territories, as well as presentations, sponsorships, community programs, in-services and vendor fairs. Join and attend networking groups that enhance our relationships and presence in the community, • Seek out new RPNs and arrange in person and virtual meetings for (hospitals, rehabs, CCRCs, home health, concierge doctors, legal/financial, etc.), • Keep informed of all marketing and sales related Franchisor initiatives, communications, including regularly monitoring the Home Instead/Honor “HomeBase” and other industry organizations, • Create and manage digital handouts (Meet the Team, marketing flyers) and content relevant to RPNs, and localize brand awareness, • Send out regular email blasts to all RPNs, • Use Salesforce to track and have awareness of trends with high value RPNs, • Maintain a detailed knowledge of digital vendor relationships and manage the success of them, • Enhance social media presence across all territories (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and post weekly, • Take direct referred inquiries, convert to consultations Secondary Responsibilities: • Assist in the field as needed taking inquiries, performing consults, filling in for Care Pros, conducting introductions and QA visits, marketing, etc…, • Conduct Consultations, • Watch the Slack channels and communicate via Slack with Honor and document conversations, • Assist with answering phones, • Participate in on call duties, • Understand and strictly adhere to the territorial boundaries, • Attend all required office staff meetings, • Maintain proficiency in all systems and technologies used by the company including ClearCare, MS Word, MS Excel, Office 365, Slack, Honor Care Pro App, Adobe Docusign, Canva, Salesforce, MS Teams, and any other systems and technologies used by the company, • Regularly work in-person at the company’s offices on an agreed upon basis, • Reflect the Company’s core values, • Greet and welcome each company visitor in a friendly, warm and professional manner, • Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Keep a “the customer is always right” mindset while interacting with clients, families and RPNs on phone and in person., • Keep a “Care Pro” focused mindset, understanding the Care Pros are the most essential element of our success, • This position must have an understanding of and uphold the policies and procedures established by Home Instead and Honor. This position must demonstrate excellent oral communication skills and the ability to listen effectively. This position must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines., • Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills essential as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills. Must demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness consistent with company standards, practices, policies and procedures., • Knowledge of the senior care industry., • Ability to organize and prioritize daily, monthly and yearly work., • Ability to establish good working relationships with management, colleagues and clients., • Ability to sit at a desk and listen effectively for long periods of time on the telephone., • Ability to stand and walk during the course of a normal business day., • Ability to present a professional appearance and demeanor., • Ability to reach with hands and arms to operate office equipment., • Must be patient and congenial on the telephone., • Must have computer skills and be proficient in Word and Excel., • Ability to work evenings or weekends as required., • Ability to perform duties in a professional office setting.
