Support Center Technician Overview US Conec is seeking a resourceful and service-oriented Support Center Technician to join our Information Technology team in Fort Worth. In this role, you'll provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, phones, and software across the organization. You'll work closely with internal teams to maintain hardware, troubleshoot systems, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Responsibilities • Install, configure, maintain, and repair desktops, laptops, desk phones, and mobile devices, • Document procedures for installation, optimization, testing, and tuning of user systems, • Follow industry standards and facility protocols for software installation and maintenance, • Provide user support for a variety of software applications, • Monitor and maintain local backups for individual systems and devices, • Support specialized hardware and software needs across departments (R&D, Manufacturing, Metrology), • Maintain preventive maintenance programs for workstations, servers, and network equipment, • Add and maintain scanners, copiers, and printers (local and networked), • Assist with key systems including wireless networks, structured cabling, VOIP/telecom, A/V setups, and digital communication boards, • Train users on proper use of personal computer programs and software packages, • Evaluate and recommend software and equipment to meet business needs Must Haves • A+ Certification or equivalent hands-on experience, • Experience in workstation maintenance and troubleshooting, • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Server platforms, • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills, • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Nice to Haves • Associate or bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, • Proven experience in a Support Center or help desk environment, • Familiarity with Microsoft network structures and protocols What We Offer • Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives, • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans, • Paid time off and holidays to support work-life balance, • 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer match, • A collaborative, innovation-driven culture, • Opportunities for professional development and cross-functional learning, • Inclusive workplace with reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals Join US Conec today and be part of a team that values each other, promotes innovation and growth, and strives to exceed customer expectations in everything we do.
