Job Description Job Overview: NEC Signage + Architectural Products is a leading sign manufacturing firm located in the North Houston area. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and possess strong computer literacy skills. Responsibilities: • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner., • Manage the front desk, answering phone calls, and responding to inquiries in a timely manner., • Handle administrative tasks such as sorting and distributing mail, filing documents, and maintaining accurate records., • Perform daily computer entry and distribution of work orders, as well as data entry of employee timesheets., • Assist with new hire paperwork and onboarding. Process changes to employment data, • such as new hires and terminations. Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner., • Maintain a clean and organized office environment. Monitor and order office supplies., • Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping., • Collaborate with Office Manager on additional administrative duties. Qualifications: • Minimum High school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree in business administration preferred. • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role is highly desirable. • Strong time management skills and attention to detail., • Highly proficient computer skills, including experience in Microsoft Office (Word Excel) and the ability to quickly learn new software applications. • Experience with Sage software is an advantage., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills., • Data entry experience required.
