Country Manager UK & Ireland Have you got a proven track record of driving commercial growth and leading high-performing sales teams? Do you have extensive experience within the consumer durable goods industry, managing retail and distribution partnerships? Can you develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share and deliver profitable growth? MacGregor Black are partnering with a leading Consumer Goods brand, on the search for a Country Manager – UK & Ireland. This is a permanent position reporting directly to the Managing Director Europe. As Country Manager, you will be responsible for driving sustainable growth and profitability across the UK and Ireland. You’ll lead a dynamic sales team, develop strong retailer and distributor partnerships, and execute integrated go-to-market strategies that align with brand objectives. This is a pivotal role for a strategic, results-oriented commercial leader with excellent negotiation and analytical skills. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to increase market share and revenue across the UK and Ireland, • Identify emerging retail trends, new customer segments, and growth opportunities, • Establish and strengthen partnerships with key retailers, garden centres, specialty stores, distributors, and e-commerce platforms, • Negotiate annual terms, joint business plans, and commercial agreements to drive profitability, • Plan and execute integrated trade marketing and brand activation campaigns to maximize visibility, • Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing national sales team, fostering accountability and collaboration, • Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and reporting to ensure delivery of financial targets, • Partner with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Product teams to align commercial and operational objectives, • Monitor market and competitor performance, providing data-driven insights and strategic recommendations, • Represent the UK business within the European leadership team, ensuring consistency and alignment across markets What We’re Looking For: • 7–10 years’ proven experience in sales leadership within consumer durable goods, • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding revenue targets and growing market share, • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the UK retail and distribution landscape, • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, • Strong leadership and team management experience, able to motivate and inspire performance, • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategy, • Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and hands-on, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics (ERP) preferred, • Willingness to travel extensively within the UK (up to 80%) and occasionally internationally Please contact Lewis Millican for further information.
