Acclaimed Miami-based chef Bradley Kilgore is opening 3 concepts along the Redwood Park of the iconic Transamerica Pyramid, the first of which is Cafe Sebastian. Slated to be an all day cafe & bistro, Cafe Sebastian will serve Chef Bradley’s Modern American fare influenced by the bountiful products of the San Francisco Bay Area. The restaurant will offer breakfast and lunch options, as well as corporate catering for events within the Transamerica Pyramid property. With more concepts slated to open soon, there is opportunity for growth and diverse experiences at Cafe Sebastian. 2+ years of administrative work is encouraged, but a positive attitude and strong work ethic are both necessities to join the team. Our Shoot Captains are the soul of our competitive socialising experience. You will bring the Clays experience to life for our guests. We are looking for exuberant individuals with big personalities who always bring fun and positive energy to our atmosphere. You will run a section of our gaming pegs and control the guests entire journey for multiple groups throughout the operation. Previous hosting and serving experience will really help you in this role. You will be expected to introduce the game, set guests up on the system and get them started. Show them how to use our Food & Beverage kiosks and support them with placing food and drinks orders. Moreover, you will ensure that they are looked after with our 12 steps of service, covering every stage of their experience. You will understand our bookings system and learn how to manage the entire bookings journey and you will actively engage in serving duties, coordinating with the bar and kitchen to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to all tables in your designated section. Our Floor Team is key to the execution of our competitive socialising experience and the Food & Beverage delivery in a fast paced exciting environment. You will work closely with the kitchen and bar team to deliver exceptional standards of service. We are looking for highly motivated servers that have a desire to be trained and upskill themselves, or even become future leaders of our business. You will be provided extensive training and be expected to achieve execution criteria and consistency. Day to day duties will involve preparation for general service, setting up for private events, execution during service hours and maintaining the high hygiene and safety policies. We are looking for a self-driven individual that strives for excellence. Ideally with some experience in the hospitality industry. The right candidate will be passionate and always strive to exceed expectations in knowledge and capabilities. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Your role will include but may not be limited to the following responsibilities; - Serving food and beverage in a professional manner with high level of customer service - Perfect execution of our service wheel - Checking with guests to ensure they are enjoying their food and drinks - Presenting our F&B Kiosk and show the guests how to use it - Cooperate and communicate effectively with bar, host and kitchen staff in a calm and professional manner - Always strive towards best customer satisfaction - Execution of private and corporate events - Committing drink & food specifications to memory - Understanding of our technology - Communicating the business and technology to our guests - Maintaining H&S expectations - Making incredible recommendations based on your knowledge and training - Setting up for service - Completing curriculum of the Career Tree - Be a brand champion maintaining expectations and delivery at all times SKILLS, DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES - Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills - Able to work under pressure - Passionate about the food & beverage industry. - Experience in a high volume bar or restaurant is preferred but not essential. - 1 years of experience in the hospitality industry - Demonstrate an interest and drive for the hospitality industry WHAT YOU’LL GET IN RETURN We value our colleagues greatly and want everyone to feel rewarded.
