The Role: Contract Role - London (Hybrid) (12-18 months engagement) We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud Order to Cash (O2C) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Consultant to lead the design, configuration, and end-to-end implementation of project driven revenue and billing processes as part of our transformation from Oracle E-Business Suite (R12) to Oracle Fusion Cloud. This role will play a critical part in delivering integrated project-based Order-to-Cash solutions, covering Project Contracts, Service Contracts, Accounts Receivables, Revenue Management, and PPM modules including Project Foundation, Project Costing, and Project Billing. The consultant will work closely with Finance, Project Management, and IT teams to ensure scalable, compliant, and business-aligned solutions. Responsibilities: • Support business owners and SMEs in defining and confirming configuration decisions for the following Oracle Fusion Cloud modules: Project Contracts, Service Contracts, Accounts Receivables, Advanced Collections, Revenue Management, Project Foundation, Project Costing, and Project Billing., • Design and configure project-based billing and revenue recognition models, including time & materials, fixed price, milestones, and usage-based billing. Project Manager – Oracle Fusion Implementation., • Define and document end-to-end O2C process flows, from contract creation through billing, revenue recognition, and cash application., • Ensure seamless integration across Receivables, Project Contracts, Project Costing, Project Billing, Service Management and General Ledger., • Monitor and review functional deliverables from the implementation partner, including: Functional design documentation, Setup documentation, Test scenarios and evidence, Training and support artifacts., • Serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders, process owners, SMEs, and the implementation/technical teams throughout the project lifecycle., • Facilitate process discussions to identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate Order to Cash and PPM processes, with a strong focus on adopting standard Oracle Fusion functionality and minimizing customizations., • Oversee and shadow key project activities including solution configuration, approvals/workflows, controls, accounting setups, testing, and deployment, while enabling the internal IT support team to become self-sufficient post go-live., • Coordinate and support process playbacks / solution walkthroughs, ensuring alignment across business teams and timely closure of feedback., • Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders on process transformation., • Provide functional leadership across data migration activities for O2C and PPM, including Customers, Customer Sites, Contracts, Expenditure items , open Invoices, Open receipts and balances, and support business validation and reconciliation., • Support the business owners, business process owners and the SMEs in the design and implementation of controls (including appropriate segregation of duties)., • Support the business owners, business process owners and the SMEs with go-live readiness assessments and coordination of signoffs., • Lead and coordinate cutover planning and execution for the O2C and PPM workstream, including go live readiness checkpoints and business signoffs., • Ensure the implemented solution aligns with enterprise requirements for IT architecture, data security, access controls, and compliance standards., • Identify and manage risks related to data migration, integration, controls, and business readiness. • Proactively identify, track, and manage O2C and PPM related project risks and issues (data, integrations, controls, readiness), maintaining mitigation plans and escalating where needed., • Ensure compliance with program governance and delivery standards., • Proactively escalate risks and issues to program leadership., • Partner with Change Management and business teams to support training, end-user enablement, communications, and adoption readiness. Contribute to training strategy, user enablement, and knowledge transfer., • Support development of key business-facing materials such as SOPs, job aids, and user guides to ensure smooth transition to operations., • Support stakeholder communication and adoption activities. Project Manager – Oracle Fusion Implementation, • Support post-go-live transition planning to ensure stable handover to business-as-usual (BAU) support teams. Post Go-Live Support: • Provide hypercare and post-go-live stabilization support., • Troubleshoot production issues related to Account receivables, Contracts, Project Costing, Billing, Revenue Management and accounting. Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field., • 15+ years of experience in Oracle Financials and/or Project Accounting., • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations., • Proven track record of at least 3 end-to-end Oracle EBS (R12) to Fusion Cloud migrations., • Strong functional expertise across, Oracle Fusion PPM (Project Foundation, Costing, Billing, Contracts), Order to Cash, Accounts Receivables, and Revenue Management., • Deep understanding of project-based revenue recognition, billing, costing, and financial integrations., • Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills., • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both business and technical teams. Soft Skills: • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior business leaders, finance users, project managers, and technical teams., • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex functional concepts in clear, business-friendly language., • Proven ability to lead workshops, facilitate design discussions, and drive decision-making., • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, outcome-oriented approach. Preferred Skills, • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Advanced Collections, including strategy definition, scoring, dunning, and dispute workflows., • Experience integrating Salesforce (including Conga CPQ / Conga Contracts) with Oracle Fusion O2C and PPM processes., • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for Salesforce-to-Fusion integrations., • Reporting expertise using OTBI and BI Publisher., • Knowledge of project budgeting, forecasting, intercompany, and cross-charge billing., • Experience in multi-currency and global project environments., • Oracle certification in Financials Cloud or PPM Cloud preferred. Project Manager – Oracle Fusion Implementation, • Experience with Oracle Subscription Management Cloud, including subscription lifecycle management (creation, renewals, amendments, cancellations) and integration with Accounts Receivables and Revenue Management for IFRS / ASC 606 compliance.
