Overview We're looking for an experienced Senior Manager to lead our UK corporate tax team, driving excellence across corporate tax compliance, reporting, mergers & acquitsition activity and advisory work. You'll play a key role in shaping and delivering the group's UK Tax strategy, working closely with senior leadership and the Head of Tax. How you'll make an impact Technical delivery • Manage UK corporation tax compliance process, including reviewing all computations and returns, ensuring accurate and timely submission to HMRC, • Manage all corporation tax payments due to HMRC, ensuring timely payment., • Manage UK corporation tax provision for UKGAAP statutory accounts, this will involve managing and developing the relationship with the external tax audit team and the internal statutory team, • Manage US GAAP quarterly reporting for the group’s US parent, • Involvement in M&A due diligence projects for UK acquisitions, review data, prepare reports and assist legal counsel., • Manage non payroll employment duties filings to HMRC, • Involvement in tax advisory projects including group restructuring and financing, transfer pricing, and dealing with adhoc queries from the business, • Develop and implement process, data and technology improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce tax risk Team leadership • Manage and develop the corporate tax team through coaching and mentoring., • Manage resources ensuring all deadlines and key priorities are met, • Foster a collaorative and including team culture. Governance • Involvement in managing relationship with HMRC, • Involvement in maintaining strong tax governance, ensuring SOX requirements are fully met About You • CTA/CA/ACCA qualification or equivalent, • Proven experience in UK corporation tax compliance and reporting, • Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and accounting principles, • Experience in managing and metoring teams, • Familiarity with tax technology (ideally Thomson Reuters Onesource) and automation tools, • Excellent organisational and communication skills across all formats On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
