Senior / Associate Civil Engineer – Water (Non-Infrastructure) Location: 100% Remote from home or Hybrid in London or Birmingham Salary: Senior £45k–£65k | Associate £60k–£81k + benefits A fast-growing water consultancy is making a strategic hire. They want an experienced Senior Civil Engineer ready to step up, or an established Associate who wants more autonomy, quicker progression, and direct access to decision-makers. If you’re tired of bureaucracy, boxed-in scopes or slow promotions — this is a chance to lead delivery, shape projects, and take technical ownership. What you’ll lead • Civil design for WwTW, WTP and non-infrastructure schemes, • Technical governance, QA and sign-off (Associate level), • Mentoring and developing engineers across the team, • Multi-discipline coordination with MEICA, structural and process teams, • Feasibility, outline/detailed design and construction support, • Client meetings, workshops and influencing project direction, • Input into bids, proposals and wider business planning What you’ll bring • Chartered or working towards (ICE/IStructE/CIWEM), • 6–15 years’ UK water-sector experience, • Strong background in non-infrastructure civils, • Confidence to lead, challenge and improve design delivery What’s on offer • Competite salary for Senior: £45k–£60k and Associate: £60k–£80k, • Bonus scheme, • Private medical & life assurance, • Pension, • Hybrid working, • Funded professional memberships, • Clear progression to Principal / Technical Director This is a confidential search.
