In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards. Duties • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and MOT tests in accordance with legal standards and manufacturer guidelines, • Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical knowledge, • Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including brakes, engines, suspension, and electrical components, • Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities for each vehicle, • Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely when handling large or bulky parts or equipment, • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and offering professional advice on vehicle care Skills • Must be Level 3 qualified motor mechanic and MOT tester ticket holder, • Must hold a valid British Driving License, • Strong understanding of schematics and technical manuals for vehicle systems, • Mechanical knowledge across a broad range of automotive components and systems, • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes, • Minimum 2 years experience working in a garage, including vehicle maintenance, repair, and equipment troubleshooting, • Ability to interpret technical diagrams and perform repairs accordingly, • Good physical strength for heavy lifting and manual tasks in a workshop environment, • Ability to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs Work Location: In person

    We are seeking an experienced and motivated Ofsted Registered Manager to lead and oversee supported accommodation services for young people aged 16–17. You will provide strong leadership across multiple sites, ensuring regulatory compliance, effective safeguarding, high-quality, person-centred support and positive outcomes for young people. The role will involve: • Leading the day-to-day operation of multiple supported accommodation services., • Ensuring compliance with Ofsted requirements and safeguarding standards., • Managing recruitment, staff performance, supervision and continuous improvement., • Overseeing audits, quality assurance processes and service development plans., • Building effective relationships with Ofsted, local authorities and external professionals., • Managing resources effectively and travelling between services as required.
