Prepare and maintain service stations, cutlery, glassware, and supplies. Follow correct procedures for opening, operating, and closing shifts. Process payments and handle cash/card transactions accurately. Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and allergen‑awareness procedures. Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines. Maintain cleanliness standards in line with company and legal requirements. Report any hazards, maintenance issues, or incidents to management. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth service flow. Assist in training new team members when required. Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure accuracy and speed. Waves operate more than 270 franchised sites. We believe in working together to make our customers smile. Summary: We are looking for a maintenance technician to work in a field based role. Our sites could be anywhere in the country and this means you will get to regularly see new places. You will need to stay away from home at least 2 nights a week. The cost of the hotels is paid by the company, as well as being given an allowance each day for food and drink. The hotels you stay at will usually have a restaurant and bar so your evenings can be spent socialising with the team or exploring the local area. You will get to spend time with the wider company during training along with our conference as well as our company events. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with determination and a “can do” attitude to become part of a growing and evolving company. If you can describe yourself as reliable, enthusiastic, and self- motivated this could be the role for you. You just need the added skills of being able to work under minimum supervision and have good communication skills and you might be the person we are looking for. Roles and Responsibilities: • Complete commissioning of brand-new sites, • You may also be required to be Site Supervisor training may be provided, • Carry out planned improvement works, • Auditing the site equipment, • Carry out repairs, • Dealing with breakdowns/replacement of equipment, • Pat-testing sites (training may be provided) Skills required: • Must be physically able to meet the demands of the workload., • Must have a full drivers license, • Electrical Experience, • Ideally live in one of the regions that this role will cover and be able to commute to other areas in the region., • Good DIY skills, • Knowledge of I.T programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, • Experience of problem solving and diagnosis Desirable Qualifications: • Pat testing, • CSCS Card, • Plumbing experience. Package: Hours: Full Time (40 hours per week) - Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm with occasional weekend work which we have a payment plan for Location: Position will be field based, but you would be expected to visit head office in Putney occasionally and stay away from home multiple times a week with a 2 night minimum to be expected. Holidays: 22 days per year + statutory holidays + Birthday possible Salary: £30,000 to £33,000. per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications Start Date: TBC *You will be provided with all you need to carry out this role including uniform, tools and a company van.*
