Job Description Banquet Staff at the Whitewater Center are charged with upholding a high standard of customer service while meeting guest needs during banquets and special events to ensure memorable and enjoyable experiences. Banquet Staff are utility team members who may function in a variety of roles including, but not limited to, serving, bussing, bartending, set-up, and break-down of events. Banquet Staff are on-site, part-time, hourly employees that report directly to the Operations Manager for Events. Responsibilities • Maintain professionalism while interacting with guests., • Deliver excellent dining experience for various catering events, practicing appropriate food handling while serving, replenishing, and bussing food items., • Assist in event time management, working with Event Coordinators to ensure dining experiences, activities, and schedules are proceeding as planned and on time., • Managing guests needs to deliver excellent customer service., • Clean up and break down event space to ensure a seamless transition between events., • Maintain accurate knowledge of operating hours, activities, and products offered on-site., • Excellent customer service and communication skills., • Ability to process unique circumstances and provide positive resolution., • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment., • Adhere to grooming and appearance standards., • Must be able to work outdoors for sustained periods of time in all weather and environmental conditions., • Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds., • Must be able to bend, stand, lean, and kneel on a regular basis and for sustained periods of time., • Must be able to safely self-transport over uneven terrain or in a confined space., • Must be able to work in shared spaces with other employees and customers., • Access to the Whitewater Center’s pass activities, • Staff discount program and pro deals The Food and Beverage Department delivers exceptional, chef-driven culinary service to Whitewater guests. Whitewater is home to diverse and ever-evolving food and beverage outlets, including full-service and fast-casual dining options. In addition, the Food and Beverage Department oversees catering for private events and Adventure Dining.
