This role is responsible to partner with senior leadership shaping governance, technology strategy, and response readiness across a complex, multisite global footprint. The position will lead strategic threat assessments, integrate protective intelligence, and drive measurable reductions in risk exposure while elevating executive visibility and decisionmaking. The Director of Global Intelligence & Security Risk serves as a trusted advisor responsible for designing, maturing, and optimizing the enterprise’s global security intelligence and risk programs—spanning GSOC operations, investigations, executive protection, crisis management, and intelligence-led security strategy. This role partners with senior leadership to shape governance, technology strategy, and response readiness across a complex, multi-site global footprint, while helping advance the company’s growth through differentiated security offerings that extend beyond traditional manned guarding. The position leads strategic threat assessments, integrates protective intelligence, and drives measurable reductions in risk exposure while elevating executive visibility, informing decision-making, and supporting client-facing solution development and broader business expansion. Responsibilities • Partner with business development and senior leadership to support the growth of integrated security, intelligence, GSOC, and risk advisory offerings that expand the company’s value beyond traditional manned guarding., • Provide subject matter expertise in client pursuits, strategic presentations, and solution design, helping translate operational capabilities into differentiated, market-facing security services., • Identify opportunities to enhance revenue, client retention, and service-line expansion through intelligence-led, technology-enabled, and consultative security solutions., • Lead strategic threat assessments, protective intelligence, and communications planning for highprofile events and executive activities., • Conduct physical/cyber security and operational risk assessments to identify critical gaps, prioritize mitigations, and drive quantifiable reductions in risk exposure., • Regularly brief executives on emerging threats, operational risk, and program performance; translate intelligence into businessaligned action., • Design and optimize GSOC operating models (24/7 monitoring, incident triage/management, investigations support, executive reporting)., • Establish SOPs/runbooks, escalation paths, communications templates, QA, and reporting cadence to ensure consistent, auditready operations., • Integrate multiple regional or acquired entities into a unified intelligence and GSOC framework with standardized escalation for executives, facilities, and critical operations., • Guide clients through incident response planning, investigative workflows, documentation standards, and afteraction reviews., • Coordinate with Legal, HR, Compliance, and law enforcement partners to resolve incidents with minimal regulatory/reputational impact., • Improve response efficiency by 20–30% through the use of modern threat intelligence, CCTV/VMS, alarm response, and incident management platforms with clear implementation roadmaps., • Build and execute a global executive protection strategy aligned to enterprise risk and executive needs., • Set global standards, policies, and metrics for consistent protection across regions (travel, events, residences, highrisk environments)., • Oversee protective intelligence, advance work, logistics, movement coordination, and crisis response for executive safety., • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and crossfunctional stakeholders (Facilities, IT, HR, Legal)., • Shape corporate security governance, policy development, dutyofcare practices, and crisis preparedness aligned with business objectives and regulatory expectations., • Build and manage crossfunctional relationships to align incident response, investigations, and executive communications., • Direct technology initiatives across access control, video surveillance, monitoring/alerting, and data integration to improve situational awareness and accelerate response times., • Partner with vendor and internal technical teams to evaluate tools, refine requirements, and implement enhancements that improve reliability, analyst productivity, and client experience., • Develop KPI dashboards (e.g., alerttoacknowledge, timetotriage, timetonotify, case closure, falsepositive rate); drive continuous improvement., • Lead global, crossfunctional teams (security, intelligence, investigations, video monitoring) to deliver advisory, GSOC, and crisis response services., • Manage program budget and, where applicable, P&L accountability (e.g., $10M–$15M scale) while ensuring operational excellence., • Strengthen global partnerships with international law enforcement, diplomatic security, and vetted providers., • This job description is generic and does not list all essential functions. Qualifications Qualifications & Skill Requirements: • 10–15+ years in corporate security/intelligence, GSOC leadership, executive protection, crisis management, or investigations within Fortune 500/regulated environments., • Experience supporting business development, solution design, or commercial growth initiatives within security services, managed services, or risk advisory environments., • Demonstrated success designing and scaling GSOC/intelligence programs and integrating acquisitions or multiregion operations., • Handson experience conducting threat/risk assessments and leading incident/crisis response with crossfunctional partners., • Proven ability to brief executives and influence governance, investment decisions, and risk posture., • Strong command of dutyofcare, privacy, and regulatory considerations (e.g., data handling, workplace safety, global mobility)., • Familiarity with modern platforms (examples):, • Threat intelligence/OSINT: Recorded Future, Flashpoint, Dataminr, Anomali, opensource tools, • Incident management/mass comms/case management: ServiceNow IRM/GRC, Resolver, Everbridge/OnSolve, • Physical security tech: VMS (Genetec, Milestone), ACS (LenelS2, CCURE), alarms, sensors, analytics, • Reporting/BI: Power BI, Tableau, Excel, • Excellent written/oral communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management., • Ability to travel globally and support oncall rotations. Preferred: • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Security Studies, International Relations, Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, or related field preferred., • Relevant certifications: CPP, PSP, CFE, PMP, CBCP/BCI; CISSP or SANS exposure a plus., • Experience leading executive protection programs in complex, highvisibility environments., • Prior law enforcement, military, intelligence community, or highrisk environment experience., • Experience overseeing thirdparty providers and managed services across regions., • Eligibility for background screening and (if required) government clearances. PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT Work hours will vary depending on assignments, client schedules, project deadlines, and the needs of the company. Workweeks may exceed 40 hours and may involve any of the 7 days of the week, depending on the needs of the business.
