Team Leaders may be placed in a Kitchen (BOH) or Hospitality (FOH) role based on experience, strengths, and the needs of the restaurant. What You'll Do Regardless of your placement, every Team Leader owns the culture and results of their shift. Shared responsibilities include: • Upholding and modeling the Mission, Vision, and Values of Chick-fil-A Keller and N. Tarrant Pkwy every shift, • Coaching, training, and investing in team members through consistent feedback and recognition, • Completing Safe Daily Checklists, ERQA, Temp Checks, and VSBL Checklists daily, • Holding the team accountable to policies, standards, and guest experience expectations, • Ensuring smooth shift transitions by setting the next team up for success, • Addressing guest concerns using the HEARD model and escalating when necessary, • Using a LEAN mindset to identify and reduce waste across all areas of the restaurant, • Lead all kitchen stations — fries, breading, assembly, boards, and food prep — with precision and pace, • Manage chicken flow through proper rotation, thawing, and fileting, • Oversee catering and delivery food prep to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery, • Ensure deep cleaning, boil outs, and equipment maintenance are completed consistently, • Train and execute AHA systems performance and update the scorecard each shift, • Partner with the prep team on accurate recipes, weights, measures, and forecasting, • Lead by example in every guest interaction — modeling warmth, accuracy, and genuine care, • Verify every order for accuracy before it reaches a guest, • Manage catering orders and incoming calls to deliver on time, every time, • Respond to team member call-ins and manage illness protocols, • Oversee till accountability and hold the team responsible for accuracy, • Ensure each sales channel is appropriately staffed for the demands of the shift, • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of IPOS equipment and uniforms We Show Up • Integrity & Loyalty — You can be counted on.
