Programme Assistant - Fixed Term - Full Time ID: Job Specialism: Non-FrontlineLocation: BirminghamSalary: £26,988 per annumClosing Date: Tuesday, 6th January 2026 This is an exciting opportunity to join our Arts and Wellbeing team, we’re looking for an organised, proactive team member to support the delivery of our accessible/ Disability Arts and Wellbeing programme. You’ll work closely with our Coordinators to ensure high-quality sessions, manage administration across our digital platforms, and act as a key point of contact for project enquiries. You’ll help artists, volunteers and local teams create safe, engaging activities that reflect the communication needs and preferences of the people we support. The successful candidate will deliver on administration of a fully accessible arts and wellbeing programme. You will work alongside teams in our programme locations deliver an exciting programme of events for the people we support. As well as being the main point of contact regarding Arts & Wellbeing project matters and ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a professional manner and allocated to correct team member as necessary. This will be a hybrid, 2 year fixed term contract, working 37.5 hours week based from our Birmingham office for a minimum of 3 days a week. Key Responsibilities • Support the volunteer recruitment process, carrying out volunteer interviews and training., • Use IT and digital systems to carry out project administration and delivery including accurate record keeping, Microsoft Office, databases and online software., • Collect and input data and feedback on the project, as described in the evaluation process, on behalf of the AW programme., • Follow best practice in safeguarding the people we support, GDPR and Sense policies on health and safety, to ensure all young people are safe and supported., • Experience of supporting people and/or disabled people and their families to identify and meet their needs, wants, and provide signposting when needed., • Experience of planning, organising and delivering activities for the people we support., • Experience of keeping accurate records of service-related activity and ensuring effective day-to-day administration of a project or service., • Excellent communication skills when working with internal teams, and external organisations., • Proficient in the use of IT and digital systems, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases and online software., • Proficient in the use of digital communication, and video calling software such as Zoom and Teams.
