The Opportunity Stantec’s Energy team is growing and as such we are seeking a Geoenvironmental Consultant with an interest in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and hydrogeology to join our friendly and collaborative Ground Engineering team. You’ll play a key role in supporting our energy clients as they drive the clean energy transition and deliver major infrastructure projects across the UK. Our team provides expertise in contaminated land, hydrogeology, geotechnical engineering, and ground investigations. This role focuses on the front end of project lifecycles—feasibility and planning—with a strong emphasis on EIA. Experience with Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) and the Development Consent Order (DCO) process would be advantageous, though we welcome applicants keen to learn. You’ll also have opportunities to contribute to infrastructure and community development projects, working within multidisciplinary teams from preliminary design through to construction.
