\n We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Operations & Stock Control Administrator to join our team. This is a varied role combining customer order processing, stock control, administration, reporting, and customer service responsibilities. \n The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, inventory records remain up to date, and operational data is maintained to a high standard. This position would suit an experienced administrator with strong Excel skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Orders & Administration\n\n • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.\n, • Enter and maintain customer and order information within company systems.\n, • Prepare and distribute order confirmations and supporting documentation.\n, • Liaise with customers regarding orders, deliveries, and general enquiries.\n, • Provide administrative support to the Operations Director and wider team.\n, • Maintain organised and accurate records and filing systems.\nStock Control & Inventory Management\n\n, • Review and approve stock transactions.\n, • Monitor stock movements and investigate discrepancies.\n, • Perform regular cycle counts and stock reconciliations.\n, • Assist with annual stock takes.\n, • Ensure inventory records remain accurate and up to date.\n, • Work closely with warehouse and production teams to maintain stock accuracy.\n, • Support continuous improvement initiatives within stock control processes.\nReporting & Data Management\n\n, • Maintain operational spreadsheets and databases.\n, • Produce stock and operational reports using Microsoft Excel.\n, • Monitor key performance indicators and data accuracy.\n, • Analyse operational information and provide support for management reporting.\n, • Ensure records are maintained in line with company procedures.\nCustomer Service & Communication\n\n, • Deliver professional and responsive support to customers and colleagues.\n, • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers.\n, • Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, sales, and management teams.\nSkills & ExperienceEssential\n\n, • Previous administration experience within an office environment.\n, • Excellent organisational and time management skills.\n, • Exceptional attention to detail.\n, • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook.\n, • Good numerical and data entry skills.\n, • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively.\n, • Strong verbal and written communication skills.\n, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\n, • Proactive approach to problem-solving.\nDesirable\n\n, • Experience within stock control, inventory administration, logistics, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environments.\n, • Experience carrying out stock reconciliations and cycle counts.\n, • Experience producing reports and analysing operational data.\n, • Familiarity with ERP or stock management systems.\nPersonal Attributes\n\n, • Reliable, trustworthy, and highly organised.\n, • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.\n, • Professional and customer-focused.\n, • Positive and adaptable attitude.\n, • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn.\n, • Able to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.\n, • Team player with a collaborative approach.\nWhat We Offer\n\n, • Competitive salary.\n, • Supportive and friendly working environment.\n, • Opportunities for training and development.\n, • Long-term career progression within a growing business.\n\n If you are an organised administrator with strong Excel skills and a passion for accuracy, we would love to hear from you.
