Ensuring all areas of the care home are clean, hygienic, and well-maintained, including bedrooms, communal spaces, and bathrooms. Handling laundry and linen care with attention to residents' personal belongings. Interacting with residents, offering assistance when needed to help them feel at ease. Maintaining housekeeping supplies, reporting any shortages to the manager. This includes: Step-down provision for individuals recently discharged from hospital Step-up provision to prevent unnecessary hospital admissionsIn addition, we provide: Crisis accommodation for up to 7 days, offering a safe and supportive environment as an alternative to inpatient care Rehabilitation accommodation for up to 2 years, focusing on recovery and independenceOur crisis beds are available to individuals with a primary diagnosis of mental ill health. This short-term support helps reduce disruption to people`s lives by providing care in a homely setting until the immediate crisis is resolved. About the Role - Registered Manager As the Registered Manager, you will lead the delivery of high-quality care and support services for people with mental health needs, as well as engage with their families and carers. You will ensure compliance with CQC standards and the Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs), while being accountable for key performance indicators linked to quality, compliance, and service viability. We are looking for candidates with proven experience and knowledge in mental health services, crisis and rehabilitation care, and CQC-regulated environments. Successful candidates will need to be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in the above areas. About you Have a least 2 years managerial experience within a complex mental health and learning difficulties service, and experience within a residential setting. Ensure compliance with CQC standards and key lines of enquiry. Professional Social or Health Care Qualification equivalent to QCF level 4 and above. Knowledge and experience of supporting people with mental health and associated conditions. Experience managing services to high quality and performance standards. Experience managing care services with a combination of both LA and CHC funding. Experience managing and leading teams. Experience in budgetary management and analysing financial performance. Understanding of regulatory best practice direction in health and social care. Be accountable for key performance indicators related to the quality, compliance, and viability of services. Develop a culture of strong customer focus that demonstrates a personalized approach to individuals needs and aspirations. Occasionally attend events outside of the region. Hold a full driving license (or ability to travel), business insurance, and enhanced DBS disclosure.
