We are seeking a committed SEN Teacher to join their supportive team, working with pupils across the primary age range who require additional support to access learning and achieve their full potential.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nTeach and support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 with a range of additional needs.\nPlan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs, including SEMH, ASD, SLCN, cognition & learning difficulties, and behavioural needs.\nImplement effective and consistent behaviour management strategies.\nWork collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, Senior Leadership Team, parents/carers, and external agencies.\nMonitor, assess, and report on pupil progress, contributing to EHCP reviews and SEN support planning.\nCreate a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment that enables every child to thrive.\n\nWhat the School is Looking For\n\nQualified Teacher Status (QTS) with ECT induction completed.\nExperience teaching across the primary curriculum.\nStrong understanding of adapting teaching and provision for pupils with SEN.\nExcellent classroom management skills and emotional resilience.\nTeamTeach, MAPA, or trauma-informed training would be advantageous.\nFlexible, proactive, and collaborative approach to teaching and learning.\n\nAbout the School\n\nWelcoming and inclusive one-form entry primary school located in Bartley Green, Birmingham.\nRated "Good" by Ofsted, with a strong reputation for creating a positive and supportive learning environment.\nDedicated SEND provision supporting pupils across the primary age range in a nurturing and structured setting.\nProvision supports a wide range of needs including SEMH, ASD, communication and interaction needs, cognition & learning difficulties, and sensory or physical needs.\nExperienced Inclusion team working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, parents/carers, and external professionals to provide targeted support and interventions.\nWarm and supportive school community where pupil wellbeing and personal development are at the heart of school life.\n\nHow to Apply\n\nIf you feel this role is right for you, please upload your CV via the application page.
