Director of Business Development – Intelligence | £110k + Bonus | South West / Remote I’m currently recruiting for a Director of Business Development to lead growth across UK national security & intelligence environments. This is a rare opportunity to own and scale a high-value business unit within an established consultancy, with immediate access to a major long-term framework and multi-million-pound opportunities. Why this role stands out? • Own a new and growing intelligence-focused business unit, • £6M+ revenue target with strong existing foundations, • Access to a framework in the billions £££, • High autonomy + direct exposure to board-level leadership, • Work at the heart of the UK’s most secure and strategic programmes What you’ll be doing? • Driving new business across national security & central government clients, • Owning and growing a pipeline of £1M–£4M+ deals, • Leveraging frameworks and routes to market to unlock revenue, • Building relationships within high-assurance environments, • Expanding partner ecosystems (consultancies, primes, etc.), • Identifying upsell opportunities within existing programmes, • Shaping GTM strategy and influencing senior stakeholders What we’re looking for: • Strong BD / sales background in:, • Central Government / Defence / National Security, • Frameworks (CCS, DPS, etc.), • Government procurement routes, • Established network across:, • Government buyers, • Consulting / delivery partners, • Comfortable operating in complex, high-security environments 🔐 Clearance • Must hold DV clearance or be eligible 📍 Location • Remote-first, • Travel to South West (Cheltenham / Bristol) as required, • All expenses covered 💰 Package • £110k base, • Bonus (OTE £135k+), • 25–30 days holiday, • Pension + full benefits, • EV scheme + wellness perks ⚡ The opportunity This role is ideal for someone who: • Wants to build something meaningful and high-impact, • Has a strong network in secure government environments, • Is ready to step into a high-autonomy, high-visibility position If you’ve worked in this space and understand how to navigate secure environments, frameworks, and complex government sales, I’d be keen to speak.
